New app creator launched

A new app that apparently allows you to create Android Apps has been launched.  It’s called Andromo.

Now, if you are like me you will probably be saying something like, so what?  There are plenty of similar apps on the market.  However, I believe this one is a little different in that it uses a visual approach without the need to learn coding to create apps, which according to the makers Indigo Rose Software makes the end product very professional-looking.

So, if you fancy having a go at making your own application, then the software is available to download free.  So far 39,732 beta testers of the software have created no fewer than 52,973 apps.  Moreover, with 850,000 Android devices being activated every day it could be a smart move for anyone with a great idea.

Despite Apple being the best app provider on the market, getting the average person’s creation stocked on its App Store is probably highly unlikely.  However, as Android is much easier to deal with, even with the recent malware problems, an ordinary individual with a modicum of talent could make a name for themselves.

According to Indigo Rose, Andromo was designed to create 100% pure apps for the Android operating system.  Many of the apps on the market nowadays tend to be cross platform.

Speaking with sfgate.com, Colin Adams, President of Indigo Rose Software said: “What app designers love most about Andromo is that they can create rock-solid Android apps with zero coding.

“Apps made with cross-platform app makers are frustrating…because they don’t ‘get’ the way Android works, looks and feels.”
