Company’s staggering growth down to using Google Apps

I understand the cofounder of 3Tailer believes that without switching to using Google Apps his company would still be a small enterprise.  However, since making the switch the company is now a $100 million organisation.

What’s more, I believe it was voted recently as the second fastest growing business in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Speaking with googleenterprise.blogspot.co.uk, Jon West one of the cofounders of 3Tailer said: “Google Apps has enabled our small company to minimize IT costs while maximizing our infrastructure capabilities.  It’s incredibly easy to add new employees, define group mailing lists, and share documents.  When building a company you have to maximize every minute of your time and every dollar you spend.”

Mr. West added that his company has also started to make use of the Google marketplace.  Many of the applications available have helped improve the efficiency and productivity of the company.

I think it is safe to say that Jon West and his partner Chad Ledford are fans of all things Google.  In fact, it appears that he is integrating the cloud software with Android smartphones.

3Tailer is an online shop selling a range of innovative and technological products from air purifiers to smartwool socks.  I’m not quite sure what the difference is between these socks and normal wool socks, but evidently they are selling well.

More recently, 3tailer invested in pet supplies.

To go from an initial investment of just $1,000 to a multi-million dollar corporation in just seven years is a tremendous achievement by anyone’s standards.  The fact that Google’s cloud system has helped is a bonus.
