Businesses grow best when they are able to network. However, most of this traditionally has been face-to-face, offline at business breakfasts, or other similar meetings.
However, in a world that is not just fast but essentially becoming digital in nature many businesses, large and small, now have to look for ways to get their message across, ahead of the competition. Hence, the growth in social networking such as Facebook and Twitter.
So how can a business marry the two?
Enter B2B eTrader. This particular company has created a Google app, or more specifically an Android application that enables busy entrepreneurs to keep in touch, do deals, negotiate contracts, and so on, without the need to constantly have face to face meetings.
Now you could be forgiven for thinking that this would be better via cloud based conferencing. My first response would probably be yes it would, but often it is forgotten that business people, like the general public, tend to use mobile devices including smartphones and tablets to keep in touch. Even email and other cloud computing services can be pushed to the mobile gadget. So why not do the same thing with a networking application.
What’s more, eTrader’s app is suitable for businesses of all sizes. In fact, a small business actually gets a leg up with this as it can act as if it is a huge conglomerate. In short, it is business networking on the go.
Currently the app is only available for Android handsets, but other platforms will be catered for at some stage, I believe.
