If you are interested in Google Apps then I think you will be interested to know of a new seminar that will be held in London on the 18th September this year.
Hosted by AppsCare it will be held at Google’s head office with the emphasis on highlighting new developments in cloud email infrastructure, security, collaboration and compliance.
While seminars are not new in this business, this particular meeting could be one you don’t want to miss, simply because it’s free to attend. I, for one think that’s refreshing.
Speaking with equities.com, in a review of the seminar format, Christian Chung CIO of Oki said: “The seminar format was very informative, and allowed for discussion and questions, we will be moving to a proof of concept for our 1500 users.”
Another company CIO, Ed Lee of Storm Watches, added: “This was a refreshing format, it kept the interest alive and it also meant I had some input. We will be going Google.”
So, what is the format of the seminar?
The event takes place during the afternoon, which is another refreshing aspect. Often a whole day is allocated. However, it seems the organisers feel that they are able to get through what they need to in about three to four hours.
It starts at 2.30pm with registration at 2.00pm. The first talk is entitled “Introduction to Netpremacy Global Services and AppsCare.”
The second session is a discussion about Google Apps for Business using a speed dating format, which I understand has become popular. This is followed by customer success stories.
There is also a chance to network at the end.
