Are you making the most of Google?

If you run a business, then you will be well aware of the need to make use of all the technologies that are now available.

However, are you making enough use of what Google has to offer?  Google’s Apps cover a wide variety of facilities, not just email and the calendar.  It offers many other apps and software that perhaps you might not have realised.

Therefore, it will pay you to become aware of any changes that the company is making continually.  Not to do so could mean that you would be missing a trick.  For instance Google is throwing a lot of money at its latest venture – Google Fiber.

Google Fiber is basically a broadband service which, according to Google itself is 100 times faster than the average broadband connection used by most people today.

According to Google, by adopting this new system, consumers will not have to wait for buffering to complete, nor wait for websites to load.  Downloading information is also quicker.

Now, all this sounds great news if you run a business.  However, unfortunately Google is trialling it at the moment, so unless your business is based Missouri or Kansas then you will have to wait.

One thing you won’t have to wait for is the chance to manage all your social media sites under one umbrella, so to speak.  I believe Google recently purchased a start up company called Wildfire that does just that.

Using Wildfire enables businesses to manage its online presence much more effectively including Twitter, videos, apps, adverts, promotions, social pages and so on.

That will certainly help me.
