I recommend Astroloquiz. My experience with this app is amazing. I thought my girl is not that kind to others. Well, that’s my observation to her but when she used this app as I’m guiding her; I was surprised by her response to the quiz because in reality she never do that then I review the overall result which is her personality. Now I understand her attitude and I can talk to her now more easily unlike before.

You could check the app here - https://itunes.apple.com/app/astroloquiz/id577708973?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D2

"The OCIO stated that it was unable to locate the supporting cost analysis due to staffing changes within the organization. As a result, the OCIO is not aware of the amount of potential costs or savings incurred for this project"

It's quite telling. Also, you can find they had 2000 apps to migrate as well...and had to use Salesforce.com to do it. I wonder how those costs add up?

Your uncanny efforts to write half truths and provide misrepresented information never ceases to amaze me.
One can run Notes in the cloud, or hosted or many other ways. It's flexibility is its strength. Mobile access, tablets, Linux, Mac clients too.
Traveler does get quite a bit of press and it does not connect one to their home computer, it connects to one's server and only when their is mail waiting for you.
Cost is debatable, especially once you have greater sizes of mail files. And at $60/yr for Gmail, an IBM Notes license for a non-designer or administrator can be as cheap as $30/yr.

How isn't it worth using, given you've never used it?

IBM SmartCloud for Social Business (formerly LotusLive) has been around since 2009. Hardly new. And many have mentioned this to you in the comments. Maybe you should read up on that. http://www.ibm.com/cloud-computing/social/us/en/

"Big Blue?" Never heard of it as a project. You must mean IBM's nickname. IBM has been known as Big Blue for many, many years.

Also, the brand name is now IBM Notes. Lotus Notes is no more.

"Lotus Notes is a program that has never really moved with the times. What’s more, it is not cloud based."

Uh, it's IBM Notes. Notes 9 just released last week. More importantly, how has it never really moved with the times?

Also, once again, IBM SmartCloud for Social Business offers Notes in the cloud. So, indeed, Notes can be cloud based if a customer wants that.

Comment on Frustrated with Lotus Notes? There is a solution by Steve Pitcher

"Lotus Notes has been around for a long time now, but I’m surprised at the number of businesses still using the product despite being frustrated with it."

Quite the leap of logic there.

"As someone who has never used Lotus Notes, I may not be the best person to voice an opinion. However, I regularly come across forum questions that basically ask others for help."

That's what people do in support forums. They look for support. Maybe you're not the best person to post about support forums either.

"Now, I know this sort of thing is normal. However, there seems to be a common theme with many of the forum posts, which begs the question: If you are so unhappy with Lotus Notes, why are you still using it? There is a viable solution and that is Google Apps."

This paragraph is nonsensical. Can you elaborate what the theme you're seeing is?

"What are the benefits of Google Apps? To start with, it is a cloud computing system. This simply means you no longer have to worry that your hard drive will get clogged with emails."

Lotus Notes doesn't leave users with hard drives "clogged up with emails."

"Similarly, you are able to store and share files with anyone with simply the click of a mouse button."

And you can't do this with Lotus Notes?

"Yes, I have heard of Lotus Notes Traveller. But I believe this still needs you to be able to access your computer. Cloud, on the other hand, simply needs an internet connection. If all your documents are stored in Google Drive, you can access them remotely via a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet."

Lotus Notes Traveler is, quite obviously, beyond your experience level as well. You do not need to access to your computer.

"Finally, one benefit of Google Apps that many people don’t realise is that the cost of using it is minimal and includes access to a wide variety of online software. Compare that to the cost of licences for all the various products including Lotus Notes you may use offline."

I broke this down many times on this very site. Google Apps, plus the estimated 1:1 migration cost, is more than twice as expensive than Lotus Notes Collaboration Express licensing.

"It makes sense to switch."
